Pokemon Benayla Version chapter forty five

It's finally here. The concert chapter.



Title: GOTTA LOVE YOU ALWAYS



The light has disappeared from the sky and everyone is gathering to Ben's Concert. Shayla and Eevee included.


Eevee: I can't believe how many people showed up to this thing.

Shayla: Did you hear who it was that's performing? I just came because I heard it would be good.

Eevee: No I didn't. But then Is this your first concert Shayla?

Shayla: Yeah. I guess. But....

Eevee: I'm seeing Pokemon here too.

Shayla: Yeah. That's really weird.

(They see an entire seat row occupied by Pokemon. From left to right: Victreebel, Machoke, Mr. mime, Golduck, Poliwrath and Dragonair)

Eevee: I don't even think they have Trainers either. Must be a pretty big thing.

Shayla: Then let's count ourselves lucky we made it here.

Eevee: Yeah. So let's find a seat.

Shayla: Right.

(They sit down as Taiora appears next to them)

Eevee: So much for my feeling that tonight would be a good night.

Taiora: Its been a long time. Eevee.

Shayla: I take it you and Ben came here even though I warned you not to.

Taiora: Who do you think is singing tonight?

Shayla: Pardon?

Taiora: I just came to see that you guys got here. I'm going to sing with him too.

Eevee: You cannot be serious. That guy's going to sing?

Taiora: WE are going to sing together.

(Back in the shadows. That Tyler guy from the previous chapter is watching)

Shayla: And exactly what song are you going with?

Taiora: I'm sure you'll know this one. But its been customized.

Shayla: Customized?

Taiora: You'll see.

(Ben takes the stage)

Ben: HELLO OTTUMWA!! Thank you all for coming tonight. Right here and now I will be singing a song I'm sure at least almost all of you are familiar with.

Wormy: That's right. Except it's remixed.

Eevee: Remixed?

Shayla thinking: Oh no.

Ben: That's right. The song I sing is “Gotta Catch 'Em All” By Billy Crawford, Benayla Remix.

Shayla(Eyes widen): What did he just say?

Taiora: Well I'd love to stay and chat but my friend needs me up there.

(He rushes onto the stage)

Ben: Are you ready to rock you guys?!

Taiora: Hell yeah!

Ben: NOW HIT IT!!

(The radio is activated and the music starts playing)

Ben: Ready Taiora?

Taiora: All the way. Lets go!!

(The song starts)

Ben(Singing): I wanna be, Shayla's boyfriend. But no one ever was. Being her's is my real bend, and that is just because~~.

Taiora: Because why~?

Ben: I have gone through it all and back, it has been a fierce ride. All just to get our souls on track. With how I feel inside~~!

Taiora: Power inside.

Wormy: BENAYLA!!

Ben: It's you and me.

Taiora: Shayla you're his destiny.

Wormy: Benayla!!

Ben: Girl you got to see, that we are so meant to be~!.

Wormy: Benayla!

Ben: I'm holding true~~!

Taiora: To what you both have been through~!!

Ben: You with me and me with you. Ben-nay-la.

Wormy: Gotta catch 'em....

Taiora: Gotta catch 'em....

Ben: Gotta love you al....ways.

Ben thinking: Second verse. Better than the first.

Ben: Every year has gone by like days. My heart still beating fast. I will take this all the way, to be with you at last.

Taiora: Ohhhhh yeah.

Ben: Take my hand, our time is now. There's no letting go.

Wormy: No!!

Ben: Aint no way I'm backing down, you've always been my goal.

Taiora: It's always been our dream~!

Wormy: Benayla!!

Ben: It's you and me. Girl you are my destiny.

Wormy: Benayla.

Ben: Man, you got to see. That we are so meant to be~.

Wormy: Benayla.

Ben: God knows it's true.

Taiora: We're sticking to this like glue~~!

Ben: You with me and me with you.

Ben/Taiora: Ben-nay-la.

Ben: NOW KICK IT INTO HIGH GEAR!!

(Mostly everyone in the crowd gets up to dance for the instrumental)

Taiora: Benayla. We got it.

Ben: Huh?

(He notices Shayla standing up in the crowd)

Ben: Yeah.

(He turns his hat backwards as the instrumental ends)

Wormy: Benayla~!

Ben: It's you and me.

Ben/Taiora: I know you're my destiny!!

Wormy: Benayla!!

Ben: YEAH you got to know, that I'll never let it go~!

Wormy: Benayla!!

Ben: Finally see~.

Ben/Taiora: Each other is all we need!

Ben: Stick with me and we will be.

Ben/Taiora/Wormy: BEN-NAY-LA~~!

Ben: I choose you~!

(He runs to the center of the stage)

Taiora: Gotta be with.

Ben: Gotta be with....

(He turns around, turning his hat back forwards and points to Shayla)

Ben: GOTTA BE WITH YOU!!

Ben/Taiora/Wormy: BENAYLA!!

Ben: GOTTA BE NAYLA!!

(Most of those in the audience cheer)

Ben: Goodnight everyone!! Thanks for coming out!

(Shayla glances back towards Tyler. Who narrows his eyes and then disappears)

Ben: Here we go Taiora.

Taiora: Yeah. Our final Gym Battle awaits.

Ben: But before that.

Taiora: Yeah. I know.

Wormy: Good luck Benayla.

Ben: Thanks. I'll need all of it. Taiora, lets go.

(Ben and Taiora leave the stage and approach Shayla)

Ben: There you have it Shayla Maxwell. That was the-

(She hits him in the face as he reaches her)

Taiora: Hey! What's the-

(Eevee jumps in front of him. Growling)

Shayla: Why did you go this far anyway?! You already told me how you felt a long time ago. Don't you think that was enough? Why did you make a show out of it and embarrass me like this?! Why?!

Taiora: Hey!! Whenever he tried to let his feelings out to you all you ever did was hurt him for it! Get over yourself! What do you even mean by “going this far” anyway? This was the only thing we could do that YOU couldn't ignore.

Eevee: Shut up rat! You wanna die tonight?!

Taiora: You stay out of this! Start something and I'll fry you up!!

Eevee: Your friend was the one that started it idiot! But lets finish it right now!!

Ben: THAT'S ENOUGH!! BOTH OF YOU!!

(He turns back to Shayla)

Ben: First we were friends. Then we were more than that for a moment. And then we're like this. Shayla, right before I returned here you told me you were glad we met, that to you I was different from everyone else. So....

Shayla:.........No, the very last thing I said right before you came back was that I wasn't comfortable seeing you.

Taiora: That wasn't true either though.

Shayla: I thought Ben told you to shut up.

Ben: He's right though Shayla. Just what else are you hiding?! Tell me!!

Shayla: What is it with you anyway? If I treated you so badly why do you still care about me?!

Ben: Because we belong together!

Taiora: Benayla....

Ben: You mean the world to me. That's why no matter how much suffering I'm put through because of it. And no matter who tells me to give up, even if it's you. For the sake of everything you are to me. I'm never going to just walk away!!

Shayla:........

Taiora: Benayla....

Eevee: If that's how you both feel. Do you wanna fight ME too?!

Shayla: Stop it Eevee!!

Ben: Shayla.

Shayla: Fine. Be that way like you always have. And I'll do the same thing that I always have.

Ben: Fine.

Taiora: Hey!! You just said you weren't going to walk away from this didn't you?! What the hell happened to “I will take this all the way” huh?!

Ben: If she wants to put me through all of that suffering again so be it. But I'm never changing my mind either. Come on Taiora.

Shayla: Bye.

Taiora: You know....You really need to grow up Shayla!!

Ben: Taiora....

Taiora: All my friend is doing is standing up for himself and his love for you. And yet all you've done is-

Ben: I said that's enough. Let's go.

Taiora:................Shayla.

Shayla: What?

Taiora(Turns back): The conflict you two have is over. The only loser here is you.

Ben:.......

(He turns back and they walk away)

Taiora thinking: Because you've lost the one. Who'll love you forever.
