Pokemon Benayla Version chapter thirty eight

And now here's a chapter I'm sure a ton of people will recognize as something good.



Title: CYBER SAGE:VISTA



After putting Harold the Poliwhirl back into the Personal Computer Ben and his Pikachu Taiora resume their travels. This time to Okaloosa, Iowa.



Taiora: Here we are once again. On the road far from home.

Ben: But we don't have to be alone. Because we will be hero's.

Taiora: Damn straight. We'll change the world because we try.

Ben: You go where I go my friend.

Taiora: Because we're friends. You and I. Huh?

(They approach what appears to be an abandoned warehouse)

Ben: What have we here?

Taiora: Only one way to find out.

(He does a Pikachu run up to it)

Ben: Wait up Taiora.

(He follows Taiora)

Taiora: It's faint but I sense something inside of there.

Ben: A Pokemon?

Taiora: That's right.

Ben: You wanna check it out?

Taiora: Since you're asking, yes I do.

Ben: Then let's go in there.

(They enter the warehouse)

Ben: Hello? Anyone in here?

Taiora: It doesn't look like anyone's been in here for years. I guess it's abandoned.

Ben: Well you said you sensed a Pokemon in here. So lets find it.

Taiora: Right.

(They commence their search)

Ben: This place is bigger than it appeared to be on the outside. On top of that it's going to be dark soon. So....

(He unleashes his Charmeleon)

Ben: How are you holding up Ember?

Ember: Just fine. What happened with that Gym Leader after I lost consciousness?

Taiora: We won of course. Don evolved into Wartortle.

Ember: Perfect. So where are we now?

Ben: Inside of a warehouse. Taiora sensed something in here so we're looking for it.

Ember: It's weak but I can feel something too. I'm not sure if I can follow it though.

Ben: Well do your best.

(The three of them look around the warehouse while something is watching them from the shadows with a malevolent glare)

Ben: Find anything guys?

Taiora: Not me. Ember?

Ember: Nothing on my end either.

Ben thinking: I wonder If this thing is just looking for scraps in here. There's no way something could actually live in a place like this.

Ember: Hey guys. You gotta see this.

Ben: What have you found?

(He and Taiora rush over to where Ember is)

Ember: Here.

(They come across an area of broken equipment)

Taiora: You don't think it just fell apart on its own?

Ember: Look at the way it's broken. It looks like something crashed into it.

Ben: Maybe this place wasn't abandoned on purpose. Perhaps something drove everyone out of here.

(Something floats behind them)

Ember: Something we'll run into if we don't get out of here I'm sure.

Taiora: Too late.

Ben: What?!

(Taiora turns around and uses Thunderbolt. Which is countered by the same Move)

Ben: What is that?

Ben's Pokedex: Magneton. The Magnet Pokemon. And the evolved form of Magnemite. This Electric Type emits strange radio signals, the purpose of which is unknown.

Ben: What's going on here?

Magneton: Get out intruders!!

(It fires another Thunderbolt. Which Taiora clashes)

Ben: Come on.

(They begin running)

Ember: Where are we going?

Ben: To find out what the hell happened here.

Taiora: Why?! The only Pokemon here is a Magneton.

Ben: No. That isn't true. Remember that pile of broken machinery?

Ember: You think its been fighting with something in here?

Ben: Just a guess but I think so. But then.

(Magneton fires another Thunderbolt. Which is narrowly evaded)

Ember: You sure whatever it was fighting survived?

Ben: Only one way to find out.

(Magneton floats above them and fires Thunder)

Ben: Fire Blast!!

(Ember clashes Magneton's electricity with fire)

Ben: We need to get away from that thing.

Taiora: Tell me something I don't know. What we need is a place to hide.

Ember: Found one.

(She points to a small shed five feet away from them)

Taiora: Why is there a shed in a warehouse?

Ben: I have no idea but since it works for us let's go.

Ember: Yeah.

(They narrowly evade another electric attack and enter the shed. Magneton floating outside of it)

Ben: So now.

Taiora: Now we're trapped.

Ember: If I weren't still recovering from that last Gym Battle I could probably fight on par with that thing.

Taiora: Well your Fire Blast matched its electricity before.

Ember: I forced that out of myself back there. But now.

Ben: I haven't used Fern in a while. And on top of that a Grass Type like him should resist Magneton's electricity.

Ember: But Ivysaur insulted your whole thing with Shayla didn't he?

Ben: It's not like I hate him for it. But....

Taiora: But we need to defeat that thing soon.

Ember: Tell me something I don't know.

(They hear something move)

Ben: What was that?

(A pile of boxes near them fall over and something comes out)

Ember: We're not alone in here.

Taiora: Damn it.

(The creature's eyes glow for a split second as it stands there)

Ben: Taiora. Thunder Shock.

(Taiora's electricity activates the light in the shed, revealing the Pokemon in front of them to be Porygon)

Ben's Pokedex: Porygon, The Virtual Pokemon. It is composed of programming code and as such is capable of moving freely in cyberspace.

Ben: I've heard about this Pokemon. About how rare it is.

Porygon: That's not for the reason you think either.

Taiora: Is that right? What's a rare Pokemon like you doing in a place like this?

Porygon: I'm stuck here. That Magneton has orders not to let me leave this place.

Ember: Why?

Porygon: I was blamed for something that wasn't my fault. That's why.

Taiora: Something that wasn't your fault?

Ben: What happened?

Porygon: As soon as my species was created by you humans we were advertised for our ability to travel cyberspace, the ability your Pokedex mentioned. I was the one used in that advertisement. But....

Taiora: But what?

Porygon: The commercial backfired very badly. It gave seizures.

Taiora: Huh?

Ben: Back up here. What exactly happened?

Porygon: In addition to my cyberspace traveling ability they felt I needed to use attacks in the video too. And for my Psybeam's animation a strobe light effect was used. Many people who watched that video reported seizure like symptoms because of that. Resulting in the commercial being pulled from rotation. The idiots responsible blamed it on me when their animation techniques were brought into question. So here I am.

Taiora: That's completely wrong. It was their fault and they blamed it on YOU?!

Ben: That's how most Americans are, telling themselves that nothing is their fault.

Ember: That's still awful. So they set that Magneton up to prevent you from leaving here?

Porygon: Yeah, I mean they still got fired and weren't able to work in that business again but....I'm still stuck here. You stupid humans should really take responsibility for your own mistakes instead of avoiding them. You're all STUPIDER than animals.

Ben: Hey!! I understand how you feel but that's out of line.

Porygon: No it's not.

Taiora: He WAS very wrongfully confined to this place. Benayla.

Ember: So what now?

Ben: Isn't it obvious? We help Porygon escape.

Porygon: But that Magneton chased you in here too. How do you intend to defeat it?

Ben: I have a plan for that. Ember. Return.

(He recalls his Charmeleon)

Ben: Here's the plan you guys. Listen closely.

(Back outside Magneton is still floating outside of the shed)

Magneton:..........

(The door opens with Ben, Taiora and Porygon coming out)

Ben: I need your help. GO NOVARMA!!

(He unleashes his Eevee)

Ben: Ram it with Take Down. Taiora, cover Novarma by countering Magneton.

(As Magneton fires Thunderbolt at Novarma it's blocked by Taiora's Thunderbolt. Novarma then rams the Magnet Pokemon)

Ben: You're on Porygon. End this the same way it started.

Magneton: I'm not through!

(Porygon uses Conversion as Magneton blasts it with electricity)

Porygon: Yes you are!!

(Porygon defeats Magneton with Psybeam which undoes Conversion)

Taiora: What Move was that?

Porygon: One only I'm able to use. I'm able to change my Type into that of whatever Pokemon I'm battling.

Novarma: That's a pretty interesting Move.

Porygon: So now.

Ben: Now you're finally free.

(Magneton opens its three eyes and gets up)

Ben: Damn it.

Taiora: I thought we defeated you already.

Magneton: I don't remember coming here. Where am I?

Ben: What the hell?

Porygon: You don't remember throwing me into the machinery over there?

Magenton: The last thing I remember is being put to sleep by a Pokemon that looked like a creepy clown.

Ben: So then.

Taiora: It must have been hypnotized into doing this.

Porygon: Damn. Not just stupid. But those guys were evil too.

(They exit the warehouse. The sun already down and Magneton floating off, Ben and the others waving goodbye)

Ben: Thanks Novarma. Return.

(He recalls Novarma)

Taiora: Where are you going now Porygon?

Porygon: I've been trapped in there for so long. I don't know this place anymore. And considering how rare I am everyone's going to be after me.

Taiora: Do you....Wanna come with us?

Porygon: Why? What are you guys doing anyway?

Ben: I'm on my Journey to take on this State's Pokemon League. I'm two Badges away from my Pokemon League challenge.

Taiora: But you're further away from your other goal.

Porygon: And what goal is that?

Ben: My only love. Shayla Maxwell.

Taiora: Yeah. But again I promised you that you'd be with her so no matter how difficult it gets we're going to take this all the way.

Porygon: So you're Taking on the Pokemon League and proving yourself to some girl?

Ben: Not just SOME girl. The one I want to be with forever.

Porygon: Well that sounds better than being stuck in a warehouse anyway. So I'll come with you.

Ben: Alright. Let's go.

(He captures Porygon with a Pokeball)

Taiora: Six Pokemon on hand once again.

Ben: Yeah.
