Pokemon Benayla Version final chapter

And now for the REAL final chapter of Pokemon Benayla Version.



Title: ENTER THE VOID DRAGON



After setting out once again Ben and his Pikachu Taiora end up in a cavern of some sort.



Taiora(Looking around): Where are we exactly?

Ben: I have no idea. So stay on your guard.

Taiora: Alright.

Ben: Sense anything nearby?

Taiora: No. It feels like we're the only ones in here.

Ben: Then lets keep walking.

Taiora: What are we doing here anyway?

Ben: This is just where our travels took us.

(They turn around a corner and blood drops from above)

Taiora: Huh?

(They look up, seeing a badly decomposed corpse pasted to the ceiling)

Ben: What the hell?!

Taiora: It looks like we're NOT the only one's in here.

Ben: So lets keep moving.

Taiora: Are you serious?! Whatever else is down here is obviously dangerous. And you wanna FIND it?

Ben: After all we've been through nothing should be too dangerous. Besides, this is getting interesting.

Taiora: Good point.

(They advance deeper into the cavern as something watches them nearby)

Taiora: So how deep do you think this place is?

Ben: I cant tell. It looks like we'll be down here for a while though.

Taiora: I could have guessed that.

Ben: In any case lets both be careful. Chances are we're in for a fight soon.

Taiora: How did I know you would say that?

Ben: You didn't have to.

Taiora: So where are we going after this?

Ben: Someplace you'll like.

Taiora: What?

Ben: Just wait.

(Taiora stops walking)

Ben: That's not what I meant. We have to keep moving.

Taiora:...........

(Ben looks in the direction Taiora is looking. Seeing a broken tent nearby)

Ben: What the hell?

Taiora: Wait.

(He grabs Ben as he attempts to run towards it)

Taiora: I sense something around this place. Something happened here. I can feel it.

Ben: And?

Taiora: Let's just keep moving.

(Their walk continues)

Ben: What exactly did you sense over there?

Taiora: It looked like something had been eating that tent.

Ben: That only proves further that something's down here.

Taiora: And you still wanna find it?

Ben: Yeah.

Taiora: But then....

Ben: What?

Taiora: That tent being here means that you aren't the first human to enter this place.

Ben: But that tent was destroyed.

Taiora: So what happened to the ones using it?

Ben: I have no idea. From the looks of it they encountered whatever else is down here. Judging by their tent being destroyed.

Taiora: I mean I wonder if they survived.

Ben: If they did they probably escaped this place.

Taiora: But did they?

Ben: We have no way of knowing.

Taiora: Well that's true. But I'm worried about whether or not WE'LL leave here alive.

Ben: I'll say it again after all we've been through this is going to be easy. Don't you think?

Taiora: Barely. We have no idea what we're going after.

Ben: After every single battle we've been through I don't think any Pokemon is capable of bringing us down.

Taiora: That's what I'm afraid of.

Ben: What?

Taiora: Nothing. Forget it.

Ben: Fine.

Taiora thinking: What if what we're dealing with isn't a Pokemon at all? And it's something we cant even begin to imagine.

(Taiora's eyes widen as they both stop walking)

Ben: Taiora....

Taiora:...........

(The area of the cave in front of them is heavily damaged, broken walls stained with blood)

Taiora: What the hell happened here?

Ben: I have no idea.

(Taiora jumps forth)

Ben: What have you found?

(Taiora pulls up an empty BBQ chip bag)

Taiora: Something went down here.

Ben: Something we'll battle soon.

Taiora: What?

(The cavern wall in front of them collapses as Ben walks toward it)

Taiora: What's going on?

(They hear breathing coming from the darkness followed by large footsteps)

Ben: Here we go Taiora.

Taiora: Unu.

(A loud roar is heard from the opening in front of them)

Ben:.............

Taiora:................

(A black dragon with insect wings and antenna appears before them, roaring loudly)

Taiora: What the hell?!

Dragon: OOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAA!!

Ben: Move Taiora.

(They split off as it fires String Shot between them)

Ben: Thunderbolt.

(Taiora Thunderbolts the dragon in front of them, the beast easily resisting the attack, just standing there)

Dragon:................

Taiora: Benayla....

Ben:............

Ben's Pokedex: No available data.

Ben: What?!

Ben's Pokedex: There are believed to still be Pokemon that have yet to be discovered by humans.

Taiora: No way.

Ben thinking: No wonder this one is one of them. Looks like it stayed in here and attacks anything that enters this place. So no one who has even seen it has lived to say so.

Ben: Until now that is. Taiora.

(Taiora jumps straight at it)

Taiora: Skull Bash!!

(The monster clashes with Slash, knocking Taiora away)

Ben: Taiora!

(He quickly runs up and grabs Taiora being knocked away, both of them hitting the wall)

Dragon: OOOOOOOAAAA!!

(It charges Hyper Beam)

Ben: Move.

(Taiora jumps up in front of Ben)

Ben: Taiora!!

(Taiora fires Thunder as the monster launches Hyper Beam. Clashing with it)

Ben: You alright?

Taiora: Yeah.

(Taiora fires Thunderbolt at the monster again. The attack is once again easily resisted)

Ben: That's not going to work. Based on its electricity resistance and appearance this thing's obviously at least part Dragon Type. You're the one at a disadvantage here.

Taiora: Why couldn't your Pokedex identify this thing?

Ben: It looks like it's stayed hidden in here for a long time. And based on what we saw it attacks whatever enters its territory. There are probably plenty of other Pokemon no one's ever seen before. But that's probably why this one is one of them.

(The monster lunges at them and they evade)

Ben: Blind it.

(Taiora activates Thunder Punch and waves it in front of the creature's eyes. Then smashes it into the ground and leaps backward)

Ben: Now counterattack.

Dragon: OOOOOOOAAAA!!

(It fires String Shot again and Taiora narrowly evades it)

Ben thinking: That's how it pastes its prey to the walls and ceilings here.

(The monster fires Dragon Rage and Ben takes the hit)

Taiora: Benayla!!

Ben: I'm fine.

(He gets up)

Taiora:............

(He mentally flashes back to Ben outside of his High School with that friend of his)

Ben: From here our battle begins. The battle for Benayla.

Reira: I'm sorry to hear all that's happened. No one could have predicted that Shayla would turn on you like that.

Ben: The way she's being right now I foresee this is going to be difficult. But I'm prepared.

Reira: So am I. I won't let it end here either, because I promised you would be with her.

(End of flashback)

Taiora: Huh?

Ben: That's it.

Taiora: What?

Ben: This is our only option now.

(Ben pulls his Master Ball out)

Taiora: But that's....

Ben: When the Mayor of Iowa gave this to me he said it would capture any Pokemon. So now....

(He throws the Master Ball at the monster in front of them and it gets trapped inside. The Master Ball begins moving)

Taiora: Awesome. Yeah-

(The creature breaks free. Destroying the Master Ball)

Taiora: HUH?!

Ben: It didn't work.

Taiora: So much for catching any Pokemon without fail*. That was a complete ripoff!!

*=If you dissect a Pokemon game's programming, it will reveal that the Master Ball's success rate actually isn't cleanly 100%. It's 99.99%.

Ben: Damn it.

Taiora: Don't tell me that was your only Pokeball.

Ben: It wasn't. But I doubt any other one I have will work on this thing the way it is now.

Taiora: So what do we do?

(The monster roars loudly)

Ben: We defeat it.

(Taiora jumps forth)

Ben: Thunderbolt.

(The beast negates Thunderbolt with Dragon Rage)

Ben: Thunder Punch.

(The dragon clashes with Slash)

Ben: Thunder!

(Taiora charges Thunder as the monster charges Hyper Beam)

Ben: Now!!

(Both attacks clash in an explosion)

Ben: Taiora!

(He lands beside Ben)

Taiora thinking: I can't hit that thing at all. This isn't going to end well.

(Taiora mentally flashes back again. This time to Ben sitting at home)

Reira: It sounds like things keep on getting worse between you two, but still.

Ben: But I still wont give up. I wont forget the way we were. So even in this situation I'm not going to walk away.

Reira: And if I gave up it'd mean my promise to you was just empty words.

Ben: It's not just that. I'm doing this because I love her and I don't want to lose her.

Reira: Shayla Maxwell. What exactly does she mean to you?

Ben: She's everything to me. That girl is the one I want to be with forever.

(End of flashback)

Taiora thinking: These memories. They aren't mine.

Ben: This isn't good.

Taiora: I'm barely able to keep up with this thing. All I can do is clash with it.

Ben: Then bury it. Thunderbolt.

(Taiora fires Thunderbolt at the ceiling and it does nothing)

Taiora: Huh? It didn't work.

Ben: Damn it.

Taiora: What now?

(The monster charges at them)

Ben: Thunderbolt!

(Taiora fires Thunderbolt which is negated by the monster's claws)

Ben: What?!

Ben thinking: That thing blocked Thunderbolt that easily. Just how powerful is it?!

Taiora thinking: This isn't good. If we don't do something soon we're both going to die.

(Taiora mentally flashes back again)

Ben: Pretty soon this is going to escalate beyond anyone seeing any hope. Besides me.

Reira: That isn't true and you know it. I'm still standing by you all the way. I promised you'd be with Shayla didn't I?

Ben: What do you think Shayla would say about that?

Reira: What do you mean?

Ben: The very thing that we've had all this time. On the outside it looks like that doesn't exist anymore.

Reira: That doesn't matter. Because you're going to end up with her. I know you will.

Ben: Even if that isn't true I'm still going to fight this battle until the very end. Even if it's to the very end of my life.

Reira: Don't say that!

Ben: What?

Reira: The moment you doubt yourself is when it's all over. You said she means the world to you right? If there's no doubt in your mind that you two belong together. Don't doubt in your heart that you'll BE together.

(End of flashback)

Taiora thinking: No. It WON'T end this way!!

(Taiora jumps at the Pokemon in front of them)

Ben: Taiora.

Taiora: You're right Benayla! After everything we've been through this thing cant do anything to us. We're going to defeat it!!

Taiora thinking: And after that, we're going back to your battle.

(Taiora's body glows with golden light and he blows the monster backward with Thunderbolt)
 
Ben: Taiora.

Taiora: Take this!!

(He activates Thunder Punch and hits the creature with it constantly)

Ben thinking: Reira, you really do live on in Taiora.

Ben: Because the Taiora he's named after lived on in you.

(Taiora jumps back as the Pokemon he's battling charges Hyper Beam)

Ben: We HAVE come a long way. So now it's time to finally end this battle.

(Taiora charges all of his electricity at once)

Ben: Thunder!!

(The monster launches Hyper Beam as Taiora launches Thunder. Momentarily clashing before Taiora's attack breaks through and electrocutes it)

Ben: Oh yeah!!

(He runs up and throws a Pokeball at the barely conscious Pokemon. Capturing it)

Ben: We defeated it. Taiora.

(Taiora stops glowing and runs up as Ben picks up the Pokeball)

Ben: WE CAPTURED RYUDRA!!

Taiora: Yeah!!

Ben: Thanks Taiora. For everything up until now.

Taiora: But where do we go now?

(Ben walks past him)

Ben: Where we've belonged all along. Taiora.

(He puts his hand on Taiora's head)

Ben: Let's finally finish what was started all those years ago. The battle for Benayla. Let's see the end of that together.

Taiora: Hell yeah!

(They both take off)

Taiora thinking: Our battle will finally end soon.

(He mentally flashes back to the end of Ben's freshman year)

Ben: It ended badly after all. I ended up asking Shayla if she hated me. But she just said she “Really really really” dislikes me.

Reira: Who says that's how it ends? Does that change how you feel about her?

Ben: Of course not! Nothing ever will.

Reira: That's all that matters. For what it's worth, if she really felt anything with you back then, I already know for a fact that she didn't mean that when she said it.

Ben: But that still doesn't change how things are right now.

Reira: That's what you must do yourself. For both of you, if she means the world to you all that's left is to prove it to her. Show that girl that you'll never give up on her no matter what happens. Because THAT is what love is meant to be.

Ben: Reira....

Reira: And eventually she'll be the same for you. Instead of hurting each other you'll both stand together forever. That's the future we all hoped for at the very start of everything. So make that the end of everything.

Ben: THANKS for everything.

Reira: What?

Ben: Not only for this. But you're the one who helped me realize my love for Shayla in the first place. If it wasn't for you this couldn't have started, much less gotten this far.

Reira: And it'll go as far as it needs to until you two are together. I promised before that we'd win this battle. So let me promise this now, that as long as my eyes are black we wont allow anyone to say we're wrong, and that the day will come when you hold Shayla Maxwell again, at your wedding reception.

(End of flashback. They've exited the cavern)

Ben: Taiora.

Taiora: Yeah.

Ben/Taiora: BENAYLA FOREVER!!

(They both take off)

Taiora thinking: Pokemon Benayla Version Epilogue. After all this time we've finally come this far. All the way from when this conflict of ours began, even though it started long before we met. What started back then has taken us all the way to now. That long story evolved into this one. We're finally going to end all of this, so we can all live to see the next one.
