Pokemon Benayla Version chapter four

And as we all expected it eventually here is chapter number four.

Continuing forth to the fourth chapter (Pun intended) here are the character bios put forth for the fourth time.

Ben:
A Pokemon Trainer on his Journey across Iowa in hopes of challenging its Pokemon League to become a Pokemon Master.

Taiora:
Ben's Pikachu. His Starter Pokemon.

Wormy:
Ben's Caterpie.

Harold:
Ben's Poliwag.

Shayla:
Ben's Rival and long time one sided love.

Eevee:
Shayla's Starter Pokemon.

Hunter Nolan:
A High School friend of Ben's. And a self proclaimed snake.



Last time Ben and Taiora continued their Pokemon Journey after capturing Wormy, a Caterpie with a dream of being a Rock Star. Afterward, they came across Clive River and captured another Pokemon, Harold the Poliwag.

Continuing down the road, the two of them found a local neighborhood to challenge its Trainers, where they fought three one on one battles, winning all of them.

Despite their victories Ben realizes that he and his Pokemon still have a long way to go and with that he and Taiora leave to their next destination.


Title: CHALLENGE OF THE HUNTER!


After three long walks Ben the Pokemon Trainer and Taiora the Pikachu finally reach Clive.


Taiora: Finally, we've made it.

Ben: Yeah, now to find the Aquatic Center and its snack bar. And later the Pokemon Gym.

Taiora: Can we rest before that? I wanted go for a swim.

Ben: Of course we can.

Taiora: Alright.

(They reach the aquatic center and Ben unleashes his other two Pokemon)

Ben: Alright, we're taking this last break you guys. Make it count because we probably won't get another one for a while.

Taiora: You don't have to tell me twice, come on you guys. Who's up for the Lazy River?

Wormy: I'll go with you, let's get a double tube.

(They take off)

Harold: I think I'll stay with you, what are you going to do?

Ben: I'm going to the concession stand to restock on food.

Harold: Do all of you guys like junk food or something?

Ben: Not all the time, although Wormy seems to.

Harold: You sure you can become a Pokemon Master like this?

Ben: All they need right now is focus.

Harold: And that's exactly what I mean.

Ben: Here.

(He hands Harold an energy drink and the Tadpole Pokemon holds it with his tail)

Ben: I'm going to restock on all that we need, tell the others that we're out of here after the next pool break.

Harold: Alright.

(Ben leaves)

Harold thinking: You guys had better get everything together, I have a feeling things are going to get revved up very soon.

(Meanwhile Taiora and Wormy are in a double tube)

Wormy: So where do you think we're going after this?

Taiora: We're taking on the Clive Gym Leader.

Wormy: I see, that's natural I guess. If he intends to take on the League that is.

Taiora: Yeah well, that's not the only thing he's taking on.

Wormy: Hey Taiora.

Taiora: What?

Wormy: When I asked Ben what his goal was besides this, you said “Shayla” who is that anyway?

Taiora: His Rival Trainer, I'm sure you'll be meeting her soon enough.

Wormy: I take it they're....(Holds out his suction cup hand).

Taiora: What are you doing?

Wormy:.....I wish I had a pinkie......

Taiora: Anyway man, the task in front of us is the Pokemon League. So lets just make sure we're ready for the first Gym Battle okay?

Wormy: Agreed.

Taiora: And there will be plenty of time to see how our Trainer and Shayla will be after all of that is over.

Wormy: Again agreed.

(Harold appears)

Harold: We're ready guys, Ben's getting directions to the Gym so come on.

Taiora: Understood, come on Wormy.

Wormy:............

(The three Pokemon take off and reunite with their Trainer. And eventually Ben and Taiora locate the Clive Gym)

Ben: Well, here we are at last.

Taiora: So what Pokemon am I battling?

Ben: Beats the hell out of me, let's go.

(They enter the Gym)

Ben: I've come to request a challenge to the Clive Gym Leader, show yourself.

(Someone appears in the shadows)

Taiora:.......

Gym Leader: You're here for the Badge right?

Ben: That's right.

Gym Leader: Challenge....Accepted.

(The lights activate and the Gym Leader “Hunter Nolan”* appears)

*=My next High School friend, Hunter is a really spontaneous person. Despite the fact that he doesn't use Grass Pokemon he is a really “Fun Guy”.

Ben: It's you.

Taiora: You know this guy?

Ben: He's a school friend of mine.

Taiora: Right, like Shayla.

Hunter: Shayla has already been here, and defeated me with just Nidoran.

Ben:.....I see.

Hunter: Anyway man, the battle is two on two.

Ben: Fine by me.

Hunter(Snaps his fingers): Let's roll.

(An Ekans slithers over to him and hands him a Pokeball in its mouth)

Ekans: I'm a snake~~.

Hunter(Smiles): You sure are.

Ben: Alright, time to rock and roll.

(He unleashes Wormy)

Taiora: You sure about that?

Ben: Yeah.

Hunter: Ah man, if this is how you rock I'll show you how I roll!

(He unleashes a Meowth)

Taiora: What the?

Ben(Reading the Pokedex): The Scratch Cat Pokemon. It's a Normal Type.

Wormy: Meaning? What am I up against?

Ben: I cant be sure. Pokemon of that Type can learn plenty of Move Types.

Wormy: You don't say.

Meowth: Yes I do. Now let's get started shall we?

(The bell is activated)

Ben: String Shot.

(Wormy spits silk at Meowth who evades it)

Hunter: Turn the beat up.

(Meowth uses Screech)

Wormy: Ahhhhh~~ So damn loud!!

Ben: Ram it!

(Wormy Tackles Meowth which is countered with Scratch)

Ben: String Shot.

(Wormy pins Meowth's tail to the ground with silk)

Meowth: Is that all you got?

(Meowth uses Swift)

Ben: Wormy!!

Wormy: I'm fine. Hey, I hope you like soda Meowth. CUZ I'M ABOUT TO SHAKE YOU UP!

(He Tackles Meowth)

Meowth: Is that really all you can come up with?

Hunter: Turn it up louder dog! Stereo!!

Meowth: I'm not a dog but okay!

(It uses Screech again)

Ben: Shut it up!

(Wormy fires String Shot into its mouth)

Meowth: Huh?

Hunter: Oh man.

Ben: Tackle again.

(He rams Meowth once more)

Hunter: Bide!

Ben: Perfect, String Shot it everywhere.

(Wormy pins Meowth's limbs down with String Shot, and Bide is negated since no damage was taken)

Hunter: Seriously?

Ben: Finish it.

(Wormy defeats Meowth with Tackle)

Computer: The Gym Leader's Meowth was defeated, Caterpie wins.

Wormy: Yeah!

Hunter: Real classic Ben, really.

(He recalls Meowth)

Hunter: Here's my real party animal. You won't be able to pin this guy down so easily!

(He unleashes a Tauros)

Tauros: MOO!!

Taiora: What is that?!?

Ben(Reading the Pokedex): A Taruos. The Wild Bull Pokemon. It's something Wormy cant handle at present, come back.

Wormy: I beat that Tom Cat so all I need for this is a red cape. Tauro tauro!

Taiora(Face palm): God help us.

Hunter: Take Down.

Wormy: Olay!!

(Tauros rams Wormy, knocking him out)

Computer: Caterpie is defeated, Tauros wins.

Ben: Damn you.

(Ben recalls Wormy)

Ben: You're up.

Taiora: Alright.

(Taiora enters the battlefield)

Ben: If Tauros wants to rock give it an Electric Guitar solo!

Taiora: Drift caught!

(He Thunder Shocks Tauros)

Tauros:.........

Hunter: Body Slam.

(Tauros Body Slams Taiora)

Taiora: Damn....That was strong.

Ben: Don't give up. Outrun it.

(Taiora uses Double Team)

Hunter: Stand your ground and match it.

(Tauros uses Double Team as well)

Ben: Classic. Really.

Hunter: Way Of The Walrus, in battle go the same way as your opponent.

Ben: I see. Way Of The Penguin, fight in a straight line. Taiora, Quick Attack.

Hunter: Rage.

(Clash)

Ben: Growl.

(Taiora Growls at Tauros)

Hunter: Take Down!

(Tauros rams Taiora)

Ben: Grab it.

(Taiora gets on Tauros's back)

Hunter: Get it off!

(Taiora hangs on as Tauros tries to remove him from his back)

Hunter thinking: Why does this look familiar?

Ben: Rap this up. THUNDERBOLT!

(Taiora Thunderbolts Tauros)

Taiora: That was difficult.

(He slides off of Tauros who falls down and passes out)

Ben: Taiora, get up.

(Taiora rises)

Taiora: Did I....Win?

Computer: The battle has been decided, Trainer Benayla Lagnese wins.

Ben: YEAH!! WE WON TAIORA!

Taiora: ALRIGHT!

Hunter(Recalls Tauros): That took courage. I see you haven't changed at all since the day you left Iowa. Here.

Ben: What is that?

Hunter: My friend, I give you the Llama Badge. You've earned it.

Ben: Thanks(Takes it).

Taiora: Awesome.

Ben: Our first Badge, the Llama Badge.  

(He puts it in his Badge Case)

Taiora: Alright, one step down.

Ben: And seven to go.

Hunter: Congratulations dudes. The closet Gym to here is the one in West Des Moines.

Ben: Alright, that town's got a Water Park too.

Taiora: Right but how far is it?

Hunter: Just take Northwest 114th Street and you'll be right there. I think.

Ben: Thanks.

Hunter: And say hi to Shayla for me when you see her again.

Ben: Will do. Come on Taiora.

(They leave)

Hunter thinking: Benayla.

(Having left the Gym Ben and Taiora set out into the night as the sun is setting)

Ben: Thanks Taiora, we've now taken the first step towards our goal.

Taiora: Well, one of yours anyway.

Ben: Yeah.

Taiora: And speaking of which it looks like the other one is waiting for us.

Ben: What?

(Shayla appears)

Ben: Waiting for us?

Shayla: I assume you defeated Hunter.

Ben: Yeah, he says hi by the way.

Shayla: Let's battle again.

Ben: Fine.....

Taiora: Are you listening to yourself right now?

Ben: Let's go, Harold!!

(He unleashes his Poliwag)

Shayla: Alright, looks like your Pikachu is tired so lets make this one on one, come out!

(She unleashes an Abra)

Harold: What the?

Ben(Reading the Pokedex): The Psi Pokemon. It sleeps most of the day, you sure about using that?

Shayla: You wanna battle or not?

Ben: Fine. Harold, Bubble Beam.

Shayla: Light Screen.

(Abra blocks Bubble Beam)

Ben: Double Slap.

Shayla: Teleport.

(Abra evades Harold's attack)

Ben: Hypnosis.

(Abra evades)

Shayla: End this.

(Abra uses Thunderbolt)

Harold: Damn it!

(He passes out)

Shayla: That's it.

(Both Trainers recall their Pokemon)

Shayla: There's a hotel nearby, it'd be wise for you to stop for the night and let you and your Pokemon rest.

Ben: Thanks.

Taiora: So are you two staying in a room together?

Ben: Taiora.

Shayla:.....No....

Taiora: Alright then, I needed a rest anyway.

Shayla: Bye for now.

(She leaves)

Taiora: I'm the only one that wasn't defeated today. But I still feel tired.

Ben: Whatever, let's go.
